NEW: novomind AI Platform
A key innovation in novomind products is the AI Platform. It is based on the principles of agentic AI and can therefore act independently, recognise tasks, make decisions and implement them autonomously – for greater automation and efficiency. It enables the development of autonomous commerce, a new form of trade in which artificial intelligence and automation play the leading roles. The platform independently handles many routine tasks such as product data maintenance, assortment management and content creation. In the PIM area, novomind uses AI for, among other things:

• automatic text generation from product attributes,
• extracting relevant attributes from supplied texts or documents,
• supporting data mapping,
• and creating alternative texts to present products in an accessible way....

Modular commerce
novomind iPIM supplies various export channels with product data. The novomind iSHOP shop system and novomind iMARKET marketplace middleware are particularly deeply integrated. However, other web shops such as Shopify are also supported. With novomind iMARKET, novomind offers powerful middleware for supplying marketplaces such as Amazon, eBay, Otto, Zalando, Kaufland and many more with product data. However, novomind iMARKET goes beyond conventional feed solutions and also carries out transactions. A cockpit provides an overview of sales, stock levels and turnover figures and visualises trends.

Digital Shelf Analytics
novomind iPIM now also offers functions from the field of digital shelf analytics. Using IDQ (Information Data Quality), the system checks images, lists and text lengths directly in the PIM – i.e. before products go online. This ensures that all content complies with the guidelines of Amazon, Galaxus and other platforms. The solution also offers a plagiarism check that detects possible copies at an early stage, as well as a competitor analysis that makes price comparisons and market trends transparent. This allows companies to keep an eye on their product presentation, competitors and market movements at all times.

Supplier and self-service portal
The portal for onboarding product master data is called novomind iPIM Supply. A particularly practical feature is that the information provided by suppliers is first loaded into a staging area, where it can be checked and edited. Only after approval by the product manager is the data transferred to novomind iPIM and updated. The entire process is supported by a workflow engine that controls processes and automates approvals. iPIM Supply is considered a must-have for retail companies and purchasing organisations. The self-service portal is specially designed for use by suppliers. The interface is easy to understand and offers many functions for maintaining and importing product data.

BPMN workflow
The visual BPMN Modeler enables genuine workflow management – not just simple status management. It can be used to map sequential and parallel workflows, as well as complex decision paths, personal to-do lists, deadlines, delegations and escalations. Clearly defined workflows are indispensable, especially in large organisations with many daily product changes. They ensure structure, traceability and efficiency. In addition to the integrated workflow system, novomind iPIM can also be connected to external, cross-system workflow solutions. These connections always access the internal workflow system, enabling seamless collaboration between different tools.

Enterprise Data Model
The novomind iPIM data model also allows for the following options:

• Complex (nested) attributes (e.g. nut mix 32g, of which 12g are hazelnuts, etc.)
• Attributes dependent on maintained attributes. An attribute is a table with n hierarchically arranged rows. Columns are displayed depending on attribute values
• Classification-dependent restriction of value lists

Data protection
novomind offers proven best-in-class data protection. Whether it's access control, input control, order control or availability control – technical and organisational measures are in place for every conceivable situation. Definition and documentation are well above the industry standard. We are openly committed to the GDPR, and corresponding functionalities and best practice guidelines are available. Most recently, in February 2021, novomind had all its office and server locations audited by TÜV Rheinland. In addition to the existing TISAX certification for the automotive industry, novomind has also been ISO/IEC 27001 certified since March 2022.

Sustainability
novomind is strongly committed to climate and environmental protection. In 2021, the company began developing its environmental management system (EMS) in accordance with EMAS (Eco-Management and Audit Scheme). novomind achieved a milestone in the continuous improvement of its environmental performance with the successful EMAS and ISO 14001 audits. The choice of state-of-the-art data centres with strict standards for environmental and energy management for servers operated by novomind further underlines the company's commitment to sustainability.
